I laughed... I cried... and cried and cried...

Seriously though, this was awsome.
The look of sheer joy on the guy's face at the end ruled oh-so-hard.

Y'know... Newgrounds (and I guess the world in general) does something to a person. For some not-too-unfathomable reason I kept expecting someone to run over by a Mack truck, or someone to die of some horrible disease or some other such calamity, leaving the story blank and unfinished for the purpouses of black humour. For this reason I felt guarded and unwilling to let myself fall in love with your characters until near the end when (oh frabjous day) it all came together sweetly and without calamity.
So instead of duly laughing at some kid's blatant southparkish contortion of sentiment for chuckles, here I sit hoping and praying that I and those around me don't fall into the same trap as a boy who lost his cat, lost his way, yet in the end won the day.

Please take care not to burn yourseves out on a huge production... Believe me, it hurts.
Hey, did you know that if you set an audio file to 'stream' and have it play through more than once, the file size will increase proportionately?
Eg: The 'A. Griffith' music... since it's used more than once, try just setting it to 'event'. Event music is only uploaded once, thus cutting your file size/download time!

I kinda know what you mean. I wasn't too sure, halfway through this, that I was gonna be able to make it to the end without givin up or scrapping the project. I'm glad I did and the payoffs and joy I get from reading reviews from people that love my work made it well worth it. (Though I'm not gonna be makin another episode this long for a good while >.<)

Thanks for the advice on the streaming, I'll keep it in mind next time. Though, even if I had applied it to this one, I'm sure that I'd of still had to of gone through Tom in order to submit it.

P.S. I think your the first one to point out your knowledge of the 'Andy Griffith Theme', some of the other reviewers had no idea what it was. Makes me feel old...even though the spand of time that it was out was even before me.

Did you know that, on average, in total, you waste approximately three years of your life saying "um"?

I have discovered many little "lost pockets" of time that really add up when you gather them all together and use them more wisely.

Nah, actually I made that statistic up. I actually have 25 hours in my day, due to relativisitic effects.

Iwould have done it more continuously, as opposed to stopping the action whenever the lyrics stopped. ;) (Okay, that didn't happen every time, but it looked as though the words were fuel for the animation in quite a few scenes.)
